First I want to say thank you to all of my regular readers, you are the people that keep this site up with your loyalty, and I pledge to do a better job in the upcoming year with keeping fresh content flowing into the site.
I started this site on January 1, 2010, so in a few days it will be one year old! Happy Birthday! Over the past year I have done some things right, and some things wrong, but I have hopefully learned from my mistakes.
I want to end this year with a quick review of the previous year, and then give a taste of what I am planning in the year to come.
2010
As I said above, I have done some right things, and I have done some wrong things. One of the things I did wrong was not posting near enough on this site, and not being consistent with the posting schedule. This is very evident given the numbers of the past year. That being said, I am happy with the numbers, given these mistakes, and the number of loyal readers out there! So here you go, 2010 by the numbers (through yesterday):
Unique Visitors: 1,793
Page Views: 4,724
Comments: 43
Total 2010 Revenue: $4.53
So you can see I will not be retiring anytime soon! I also wrote about 5 guest posts on other people’s sites which I hope to increase also next year.
So on to 2011!
2011
Next year I want to do several things with this site.
First, I am going to be more transparent with the things that I am doing personally including what other projects I am working on. I figure if I am giving advice on things like productivity and self-improvement, I should let you know how I am doing in these areas. So to that end I am going to post my goals for the upcoming year and update my own progress. I would also encourage everyone out there to do the same in the comments so we can keep each other on track!
Second, I am going to redesign the site. I just had a new logo created, and I am going to redesign the site around said logo. I am going to try to get this done right around the first of the year, so keep an eye out!
Third, I am going to try to post a lot more. I would love to say I would post everyday like Steve over at The Steve Scott Site, but I am sure that won’t happen. However, I am shooting for at least double what I did this year. My travel is going to pick up immensely in my day job, so I should have plenty of airplane time to read and write!
Finally, I want to engage more with my readers. I have a few ideas on how to do this, but I am open to any suggestions anyone might have, so let me hear them either in the comments or via email.
So there you have it, I hope everyone has enjoyed Find Your Peak the last year, and that everyone will stick around for the exciting sophomore year.
I hope everyone has a happy and prosperous New Year!

Thanks for the mention. Even Steve Scott is getting a little burned out from posting every day, though.
I’m starting to debate going to 4 to 5 times a week. Trying to decide now whether I want to do that starting January 1 or wait till 17 February where I will reach one year of posting daily.
a little more frequency though can always be a good thing.I look forward to seeing all your improvements and redesign going into 2011.
Have a wonderful new year and lets have a kick ass 2011.

Hi, most websites don’t even reach thier first birthday, so congratulations on reaching yours.
Looks like you’ve set yourself some big goals for 2011 and I look forward to reading about your success.
Happy New Year to you.
